King's Gate is fully accredited by the Oklahoma Private School Accrediting Commission (OPSAC), the National Academy for Early Childhood Programs (NAEYC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), following a rigorous preparatory and evaluative process. The evaluative process scrutinizes the following areas: philosophy/policy making body, administration, personnel, curriculum, nutrition and food services, physical environment, health and safety, and family and community services. Accreditation status ensures that a specialized outside team validates the integrity and quality of its program and that King's Gate has achieved standards higher than the state minimum licensing requirements. We offer a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development of young children. The primary goal for accreditation is to provide children with an optimum environment to grow, develop and learn.
While many other schools and programs are accredited, King’s Gate Christian School has successfully maintained state, national, and international accreditations. OPSAC, NAEYC and ACSI continue to assess and validate the credibility and integrity of King’s Gate Christian School. King's Gate is exempt from state licensing through the Department of Human Services, as we are regulated through multiple accrediting organizations including OPSAC. OPSAC enables us to be regulated in like manner as public schools and accreditation with ACSI and NAEYC provide assurance to families that we are providing the highest quality early education possible. In addition, the staff is committed to ongoing self-monitoring for compliance. We voluntarily meet the guidelines of licensing, except in the area of providing lunches. King's Gate children bring their own lunches if they are with us during the lunch hour.
